Our holiday apartment

is located on the edge of the village - in the countryside - directly on the hiking or cycling trail and is the ideal starting point for hikes and tours by bike and mountain bike.

The gently rolling landscape profile, the location directly on Lake Constance and the sunny vineyards and orchards make the canton of Thurgau - especially during the fruit blossom in spring - a delightful hiking area.

A multitude of hikes and bike tours over the gently shaped ridges offer incomparable views of Untersee and as far as the Alps.

You will pass through woods and fields and extensive orchards, which unfold their magnificent blossoms in spring and smell seductive in autumn.

The sun-drenched vineyards are equally enchanting, e.g. on the hike from Tägerwilen to Steckborn, where you can also visit the Vinorama Museum. There are also countless magnificent gardens to admire, such as the rose garden at Ittingen Charterhouse or the park at Arenenberg Castle.

The picturesque village of Ermatingen, with a population of around 3300, lies on a promontory opposite the island of Reichenau, nestled in the lovely Untersee landscape.
The former fishing and farming village is a pleasant mixture of tradition and progress. Well-known hotels and restaurants cater for the physical well-being of guests from near and far. The surrounding area is a true paradise for hikers and cyclists. The idyllic lido is a great place to unwind and enjoy the wonderful lake location. The entire Lake Constance region can be reached by boat or train from Schaffhausen to Bregenz.
